Hi, I’m Sarah

Often called The Movement Muse, I work at the intersection of classical and contemporary Pilates, performance training, and integrative wellness. I help people build bodies that are strong, responsive, and capable for the long term.

My Experience
and Background

My work supports a wide range of needs, from post-injury recovery and sports performance to posture optimization, nervous system regulation, and sustainable strength as the body evolves. I don’t chase trends. I focus on longevity, helping you move well, not just now, but for years to come.

I’m a Board-Certified Holistic Practitioner, Certified Nutritional Aesthetics Practitioner, BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher, and a Pre- and Post-Natal and Menopause Coach. That training allows me to bridge movement with skin, gut, and hormonal health, because how you move, recover, and feel is deeply connected.

With over two decades of experience and a background in professional dance, anatomy, and movement science, I’ve spent my career learning how the body actually works and how to translate complex biomechanics into movement that feels intelligent, intuitive, and empowering.

Beyond the mat

Beyond my private practice, I contribute to the advancement of integrative wellness through my role on the Advisory Board Member of the Nutritional Aesthetics Alliance. I also serve on the committee for the Cypress College Foundation, supporting scholarship opportunities that expand access to higher education. My work extends beyond the studio, reflecting leadership and educational opportunity.

I mentor future Pilates professionals, and actively advocate for accessible movement education, including teaching Pilates to visually impaired individuals. I maintain a long-standing involvement with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

At its core, Ozean reflects my philosophy: a private, thoughtful approach to movement that guides people of all ages and backgrounds with care, expertise, and intention.

When I’m not working with clients, I’m traveling, exploring food and culture, or reminding myself of what I teach every day: movement isn’t about perfection. It’s about learning how to live well in your body, for life.
